Rear wheel(F/Stop) Dead

Today the rear wheel that normally controls F/Stop ceased to function. 

 

I went into the menu and made the rear dial of the 4 way F/Stop instead as a work around.  

 

I dread sending the body in for this repair, and will put it off as long as possible. 

 

I'm all out of canned air, but tomorrow I will shoot a can of it in there and see if its just dust or dirt.

Well, after half a can of air I am pleased to report:

So you're saying the issue was caused by dust/dirt in the dial? What camera is this?
