Hello; I think this question has been asked plenty of time. Camera? I am planning to buy a Sony FF camera next month and I am confused between buying the a7III vs a7rIII. The price of A7 III is 1455 euros and the a7r III is 1859 euros. Lenses? For lenses, I watched plenty of youtuber video showing the benefits of each lens for Sony FF camera but as I have a limit budget I am thinking get in first class the Sony 85mm 1.8 (459 euros) and Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 (659 euros). Because of the 28 focal length of Tamron I am planning to complete my lenses collection with Tamron 17-28mm (759 euros) after few months. I found also the Sony 24-105mm f/4 (919 euros) not bad but I think that f/4 in low light situation could be an issue. In what situation I am shooting? Me and My wife are planning to launch a new brand of clothes, so our goal in first class is shooting people with those clothes in different situation: Indoor, Outdoor situation. We like shooting next to Monuments places like Eiffel Tour, Louvre. Those pictures will be posted in social networks like Instagram, SnapChat, etc, and In our Website. For me I have a passion for cinematography (I will buy the Rohn S Gimble also), so my goal is to make a cinematic video for our Brand. Questions: What do you think is best for me? Is a7r III worth it? What’s the best lenses fit my requirements ? Thanks (sorry for my bad english)

On the A7III - Is there any way to get the camera to not make a "beep / boop" sound when you start or stop video recording? It's seems ridiculous to have a "silent shutter" mode for stills when the video record function wants to start a rave... alerting any wildlife you're recording to your presence. Also, am I just daft, or is there no way to get the rear screen to only activate when you touch the shutter release (for example)? Seems like an unnecessary waste of battery power to have it on the whole time. I know you can cycle the "Disp" function to get it to go off / on, but it's a bit of a faff. Thanks in advance.

I've been using my A7III with the Elgato Cam Link 4K with no issues. HDMI Resolution was set to 2160p/1080p with 60p Output. Everything else in HDMI Settings was set to off and 4K Output Sel. was set to HDMI 24p or something. The image coming into OBS was basically 2160p24. This week I decided to buy the Blackmagic ATEM Mini and this is where my issues began. Plugging into the ATEM I got nothing, a black screen. Connected to the Cam Link and got a picture. Looking at the specs for the ATEM it'll only accept 1080p or lower. Changed the HDMI Resolution to 1080p with the Output set to either 24 or 60 with no luck. Tried connecting to a regular TV and the TV says no signal. It's almost like the camera won't output anything lower than 4k. I reset the camera with no luck. I haven't tried a different cable (Insignia cable).. But it's weird the cable would work with 4K but not regular old 1080p. I tried other sources on the ATEM and they're working perfectly fine. Tried an A6300 and that worked just fine with the cable. Hooked it up to a 4K monitor and different resolutions work just fine. The A7III works just fine in 4K mode on the 4K monitor, but 1080p doesn’t work. Anyone ever run into this issue before? Any ideas what could be going on? I’m at a complete loss as to what the issue might be

What exactly does the A7 III output at the HDMI port. I was thinking about getting myself an external recorder, but somewhere I heard that you can't output 120fps, just 1080p60. Is that correct and what exactly comes out of the HDMI port, in terms of bit depth, fps, etc.

My background is actually a Minolta camera user. Started with a Minolta SRT 101. Later upgraded to Minolta 700si with 5400HS Then MAXXUM 7 finally MAXXUM 7D & HVL-F56AM. Recently, I have purchased a Sony A7 MK3. I have bought a LAEA4 adapter to use my A mount lenses. I have 2 older flashes (5400 HS & HVL-F56AM) is there I way I can use these flashes? if so how? I am seeking your help to invest further.
