New f2.8 zooms, as per twitter. The question is which one. I guess 24-70 or 70-200 are the most likely... And as a previous rumor was a patent for 24-70 f2.8 GM I guess it's that one =)

At Sony Alpha Rumors:

 

Yes! We have the final proof Sony is about to launch a new f/2.8 zoom series! And we also found the officially Sony trademarked logo of this new lens series called “G Master”.
Sony will soon (at CP+?) announce the first of these lenses, the 24-70mm f/2.8 GM. The document in our hands doesn’t unveil any other details of the lens but this should be a Full Frame E-mount lens. It’s yet unclear how Sony will differentiate this lens line from current Zeiss zooms or Sony A-mount f/2.8 zooms. Maybe those are powerzooms or “cine-friendly” lenses like the Zeiss Master series?

If its a cine lens, where does the price fall at?  Zeiss Master series are around US$20,000 so Sony version at $10~15?

 

If its priced like 24-135 f/4, then given its f2.8, around $3,000 (similar to A mount 2.8s)?

Sorry, I do not seriously care about any missing Zooms at all, im waiting urgently for a 2,0/135 (Batis?) like the CZ Apo Sonnar for Canicon. That would fullfill my dreams. Perhaps two other Batis 1,8/55 and 2,0/21. And finally, a rapid shipping of the Batis 85.
