Hi All I normally shoot full frame I have just purchased a Sony A6700 no matter what settings that I change it will only shoot in silent mode checked all over youtube but cannot find an answer can anyone direct me to settings that I can hear a shutter sound in electronic shutter or just tell me that is the way it is Thanks

Try wrapping a dry warm small towel around the hood. The heat from the towel will cause the hood to expand slightly and it should be a little looser. Make sure you don't heat up the lens. After a few minutes, try to turn it with out pushing it toward the lens, instead pull it gently away from the lens while turning it.You can keep it warm using a hairdryer but on a low setting the hood might warp if to much heat applied GOOD LUCK,

This is worth a watch on youtube i personally use the MC11 and find it great although i am using Sigma lenses Canon mount

Would agree with Golam have just returned a 24-2400mm lens to the supplier. Read all the reviews looked on you tube so many variables looks good in theory in MHO the worst lens Sony has made IQ terrible

What about existing customers who have the F4 range of FE lenses have we just to roll over we could have done with a longer FE lens or made a teleconverter to suit the existing 70-200 we don't all have money tp burn

What we need is native longer lenses as per the report by Nick Dungan in the 16th January 2016 edition of Amateur Photography Magazine great camera let down by legacy lenses in MHO not Nicks
