Spots in the frame

Hi

I have recently upgraded from the NEX 5 to the A6000 and am thoroughly enjoying it however four spots appear in the frame whenever I put the camera into aperture priority mode! Can anybody help with this? I have only had the camera two months, bought from new and has not had any knocks or bumps in that time.

Thanks

You will just have to look at the lens then, and see if you can find them. Look on the sensor too. Get a lens blower, it will blow any dust away.

but why do they only appear in aperture priority mode?

Perhaps you're using smaller apertures in A-mode than

you use in other modes ?

Usually spots are dust on the sensor. Such spots never

change their location in the frame. Occasionally wide

angle lenses, especially at closer focus and smaller

apertures will cast spots into the image. These would

occur in different places, or disappear, if you change

lenses.

Do not clean a sensor until you have researched safe

procedure. Read more than one source, no one source

will be a 100% reliable guide ... unless I wrote it, and

I have not, and will not, do so ;-)
