Something ultawide preferably not stupid expensive, like we have the 28 f2.0, how about a 14mm f2.8 or something in a similar price range

 

Cheap FE Pancake 

 

A really nice 85  f1.4

 

This, but I'd be fine with a 17 f3.5 or something. Also, I'd like a sub-500$/€-ish 50mm f1.4.

+1 for the 200mm f4 with built in1.4tc.. +1 for a 500mm f4 but what I would most like to have is either 300mm f4 or 400mm f4 prefeably DO and either very hand hold-able like the new Nikon 300mm f4 or the new Canon 400mm f4. The Sony FE system is most deficient in prime telephoto lenses that can be used for sports or wildlife.

+1 for all this. I could even go higher like f6+ to keep size down.

Two problem with that....

 

1) have to carry two cameras

2) lose all the capabilities of a7r2, especially 42mp, 4k, ISO and so on

 

I realize there is already A-mount teleconverter but want to use native lenses (e.g., 70-200f4, which will be effectively 98-280f5.6)

Well you got the 90mm macro thats sharper than 55mm?

 

I'd personally I'd like to see physically bigger stuff:

1) a faster 85mm like f/1.2

2) 400-500 or 600mm prime f/5.6

3) Zeiss Super-Quatsch Gigantar, 40mm f/0.33 reissue with newer coating :)

tossuo between the Zeiss 85mm f/1.8 Batis and the Zeiss 35mm f/1.4 Distagon. can't choose.

 

Both are beautiful. It comes down to which FL you shoot more and settle with it. If money is not an issue, why not both  B)

 

I have Batis 25/85, FE55 and recently added FE35mm f1.4.

PLEASE!!! 24-70 2.8. But my favorite Canon walk around was the 24-105, and I would buy that in a heartbeat!!

 

Agree.  I had the Nikon 24-120 f4 and loved it.  With the 55 1.8, and plans to buy the 28 1.8 soon, I don't care to buy the 24-70 zoom.
