There is no color correction in the picture. 50mm 1.8 lens

Could be an issue with the lens. Did you try different apertures?

I don't think that's Red, looks like purple fringing, common in large apertures. If shooting in RAW it can be easily corrected in post by most editors. For example CaptureOne actually has a tool specifically for purple fringing.
