winnie_beex
hello and please forgive me if I posted in the wrong place literally this is what happened ; yesterday I shot a few frames with my beloved Super Tak 50mm 8 elements , all fine & dandy about four hours ago I mounted the autofocus for M mount , the first version from Tech-Art ( or Art-Tech ? ) slapped on a Leica 90mm f4 and to my utter disbelief , being set on A priority , single shot auto ISO , as it was for a very long time , each and every time I pressed the shutter button it rattled six (?) frames , and the LCD informed me that < processing > the result was one frame , but I couldn't tell if it is HDR or not , being set on JPEG accidentally and yes , I did read TFM , but , alas , to no avail for years I used on my two Sony cameras only manual lenses , 'coz I've got only two autofocus , please help ! some time ago I solved the eternal problem with batteries ; I nicked my daughter's "bank" shoved in camera a dummy battery , and needs recharging once in two months , moderate use got a wide(ish) neoprene strap , ziplocked twice the bank & Bob's your uncle maybe someone will find this one useful impossible to count , thanks
Advertisement Posted July 1 Posted July 1 Hi winnie_beex, Take a look here Sony AII rattles six frames. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Richard A
So your camera is taking six shots for apparently no reason? What camera body is it? You haven't set continuous shooting accidentally or something?
winnie_beex
absolutely not ; all settings are OK , single shot , etc I switched lenses , it began rattling ; tried another lens ,. the same ; all in a sudden the body is Sony a7II thank you for your interest

winnie_beex
I thought the less likely possibility that the AF adapter's chip went crazy , so I put another lens in the same , rattling and rattling I'll wait a little more , maybe someone chips in , and if not , do a factory reset
Richard A
Sorry, I don't know much about the A7II...
