A recent fashion shoot for Rally Fashion Magazine. Shot on Sony A7RII with Canon 70-200 f2.8 on a Metabones adapter for close ups, and wide shots on Laowa 15mm f4. Lighting was mix of reflector and Flashpoint strobe. I had been to Ayers Natural Bridge as a kid but this was my first time coming back as an adult. The park staff was really accommodating in letting us get into the old abandoned power house which is now covered in foliage. Our model Amy Victoria was fantastic and had no reservations getting on top of the naturally made rock bridge.

A little story behind the image. It was a short night at the Refugio Altavista on the Teide. After getting up at 4am in the morning we were a little bit drowsy, but we had to pack our stuff and keep going. In the middle of a beautiful clear nightsky and about -12°C we were making our way to reach spain's highest mountain. The Pico del Teide (Tenerife). After a lot of sweat & sulfuric smell we have reached our goal in about 2 hours of walking. We were waiting on top at 3.718 m for the sunrise to come. This is a set of 8-10 images stitched together to a panorama. Here are my settings I've used Sony A65 Aperture Priority Focal Lenght: 18mm Shutterspeed : 1/8 Aperture: f8 ISO: 100 Comments are very welcome. Cheers Michael

Lens 70mm Shutter Speed 1/1250 ISO 400 Fstop f/4 Here is an image of a 4mm big fly that I took in my lunch break last week. I processed the image just in cropping/rotating the image + increasing the exposure on the fly itself a bit and +Nik Collection by Google +Nik Sharpener Pro3. The depth of field came on the fly out of the camera, no post processing on that. I've bought my 3rd used lens on Ebay. This is a Konica Minolta AF 35-70mm macro (20€ Ebay). Because Sony Alpha is using the same bayonet than Konica Minolta it's easy to get new and cheap glas. So I really had to test out my new macro lens. But had no tripod with me. I couldn't get that close without "cheating" a bit. I used one of myextension tubes (36mm) to reduce the minimum distance to the subject. Like I said I've had no tripod with me so I set the camera to a relatively high shutter speed of 1/1250 and moved the camera back & forth while shooting in burst mode. At the End there were 1-2 good images where the fly is in focus.

Why the name “60 Minutes”? About 1 Month ago. I looked out of the window of my home-office and saw that the Venus brightly glowing above the Moon. So I grabbed my camera and tripod and started taking some images. After some minutes I decided to create a panoramic image to show the whole spectrum. So I positioned all and started shooting. Again after some time I realized that the sky was changing constantly in such rich colors. So I kept on for a about 1 hour. At the end I wanted to merge all the experience into one image. Therefore the name “60 Minutes“. If you want to know more about my worklflow, please visit my blogpost.
