Questions about streaming using alpha 7 S/R II

thanks for the great forum.

 

I'm about to place my order and I want to be sure about some things that I think someone here can have the answer:

 

1. I'm planning to connect A7 (not sure which model yet) -> Capture card (probably Black Magic recorder) -> OBS to stream. Is this right?

2. Does the signal from the camera to the capture card is with full quality?

3. Can I power the camera using AC adapter for much time I need?

4. How can I mount Canon lens to it? Do I need an adapter and if yes which type do you suggest?

Hi.

 

1) don't know it works from capture card to OBS, but i think this has nothing to do with the camera.

 

2) for full quality video u must use slog (and you need to post process that) and maybe u need SDI over HDMI for the last bit of dynamic range. I don't know your capture card has SDI or u need a HDMI -> SDI box.

 

3) with AC adapter it works, but not sure with USB.

 

4) u need an adapter, Metabones for example.
