Sigma 17-50mm F2.8 EX DC

Hi guys,

 

        So I made a mistake, being new to photography, and purchased the Sigma 17-50 not knowing that it was an A mount lens for my a6000. I have been looking for a good replacement for my kit lens and with all the good reviews of this lens, pulled the trigger and got this. I realized the problem and now need your help to fix it. From what I have ready, the only option is the LA-EA4 which is 400 bucks and to be honest, out of my budget. Please let me know if there are any other options out there for me or should I just return it and get something different. If so, what are the top 3 lenses for the E mount cameras that I should be looking out for???

The LA-EA2 will also do the job.  That should be a little cheaper.  My LA-EA2 AF works great on my Nex-7.

 

The other guys here have experience with the 3rd party adapters.

Having recently upgraded to full frame, I need to replace my

LA-E2 with an LA-E4. There's plenty of users in my situation

which means you can shop for a used LA-E2 at a fair price.
