A7Sii Rec Standby & Power Issues

Hi All,

 

I am having a few problems with my A7sii and I thought I'd see if anybody had encountered these problems before. First off, sometimes it can take up to 3 minutes to boot up or doesn't turn on at all. When it doesn't turn on, I have to take out the batt and then reinsert for it to power up.

 

When it does turn on, for next couple mins, if I press the record button, it'll capture media for about 30-45 secs and then turn itself back to standby mode. Has anybody encountered these issues before? Please help me!

See if you can update / reinstall the firmware. Something with the operating system seems wayyyyyyyyy off. How much of the warranty remains?
