New remote RMT-P1BT question

This probably best belongs asked to Sony engineers, but....   Will this new Bluetooth-capable remote support 2 or more camera bodies simultaneously?

I ask the question because I do video with more than one body at the same time, and the position of the IR sensor on the front of the camera is awkward at best, and hit-or-miss to start and stop recording.  If the IR sensor was ALSO on the rear of the body, great.  If this Bluetooth remote can trigger more than one body at the same time, perfect.

 

Maybe an engineer reads here?    Any other ideas or interest?
