I recently switched to the Sony a7iii from the Canon 5DMarkiii.  I use a BUFF Einstein Strobe with a Pocket Wizard III.  Everything seems to be working perfectly; the lights flash green, the strobe flashes when I push the shutter button... BUT when reviewing the pictures the strobe is not showing up in the pictures.  It's like they are off by a split second.  Im shooting typically at 160th or 200th....  Ive tried two different sync cords.  I'm baffled, please someone help me!

Try a slower shitter speed. I had similar with another brand one model worked at up to 1/250 the other model only synced up to 1/100.yet both worked at full sync speed with other brands. Never worked out why just lived with it, lower shutter speed is not a issue with flash anyway, I was teaching and had range of other brands that came through the studio, it was only a Sony issue. Very odd.

BTW, I also found on my A7 series bodies that 1/250 shutter caused shutter band to appear as well, but that aagain might be the triggers.

it was not the receivers they were all the same model on the lights.
