Focus magnifier

  Where did my auto manual focus magnifier go?

 

  All the sudden it is not there. I have to press a button (or go into menu) to do it.

 

  I am sure that while I was learning my new camera I changed something, but I can't figure out.

MF Assist On/Off

MF assist is on.

 

I think the issue is I have a lens adaptor (Nikon to E) so I am thinking that may affect this action.?.

believe it only works on native lenses,with a manual lens u need to assign it to a button,i use c1 beside the shutter on my a7,its quick for me there,
