Blue Image Preview with off camera flash

I was testing a new off camera flash setup yesterday and noticed my shots looked blue in the 2 sec. preview/chimp.  They ONLY had this blue hue in the image preview, once saved in the "camera roll" and you go to preview your shots, its the correct color/white balance.  I can only assume this is because it has been processed for the camera roll, and the initial image preview (The 2-5 second image immediately after you press the shutter button) has not been internally processed for white balance as a jpg.  

 

I haven't tested beyond this, but on my Nikon D700, I have not seen this.  Is this just how sony cameras process the preview?

Do you have Live View settings ON or OFF ?

 

If it is OFF, this could affect the WB rendering before the shot

Set your manual WB for flash. 

 

Be aware you're seeing a playback,

Playback, preview... You are correct, at least I can put a name to it and consider this a non issue.
