Rx100MK1 Sharper at Full Zoom than 24/70FE (V2)

Ich tested six copies of the SEL2470z so far and none of them convinced me. Non of them was worth the money or was able to show the great picture quality of the a7ii. I would even go one step further: my rx100ii is able to show better results. And if I say "better" I talk about sharpness and details at 100%. No peeping, no lab, just my personal opinion. The SEL1635 much better. Sharp all over, a bit sluggy in the corners at 35mm.

 

My personal result so far: the 2470 is not my choice as an "Every day zoom". I am still looking for an alternative.
