For which mount?

For Nikon, I use the K&F Concept. Couple bucks off Amazon, it has the Aperture Dial that clicks

For Canon FD, i use the Fotodiox. Used another brand but it was on the longer side which made my lens cant focus to infinity on the 50mm 1.2, works fine on the 28mm 2.8

I currently use a fotga m42- Nex for my Helios and a couple of other m42 lenses, I had to shave about .5mm off the adapter to achieve infinity focus, although it's not a big deal and it's rather cheap so I wasn't too fussed.

But the tolerance values probably aren't that high with cheaper adapters, but they're an easy fix either way.

The Allen key screws in the adapter are only to change orientation of the lense and do not change the flange focal distance.

Hope this helps

I use a MetaBones E-to-F mount. The very proper rear

flange, more solid latch for the front flange, and the

built-on tripod socket are all, to me, worth the extra $80.

It had infinity focus right outa the box, but I found it was

actually able to focus barely "beyond infinity" as well. I

shimmed it out to "exact infinity". Easy job ..... otherwise

I wouldn't have bothered with something so very slight.

Before I got the MetaBones, I was using a borrowed

Fotasy adapter. Infinity focus was dead on ..... at least

on the sample I was using. Rear flange and the latch

for the front flange were decidedly inferior, and acoarst

it lacked a tripod socket.

I use ALL legacy F-mount glass, no native lenses, so I

didn't wanna use a $20 adapter. OTOH, I understand

users wanting to "cheap out" cuz thaz what I did buying

the MetaBones instead of the Novoflex [double the $$].
