A6500 combination

Hi All

I have been looking for a 1.4 converter to go in between my a6500 and sigma 100-400mm f5-6.3 contemporary lens but have been unable to find one, I am sure though that I have read somewhere that a combination of A6500+mc11+tc-1401+ my 100-400 lens would work, is this correct? and if so would it work in full auto mode?

The newer Sigma 100-400 DG DN for Sony E-mount doesn't work with Sony's teleconverters. The older 100-400 DG OS HSM for Canon EF-mount does work with Sigma's teleconverter but apparently results are not very good (both IQ-wise and regarding autofocus). Likely AF-results will be even worse when used on an MC11-adapter.
