This is a photograph of a Bald Eagle I took where the eagle is flying off with the remainder of a Salmon meal stolen from competitors. I found the left wing of the eagle to have an especially beautiful pattern. #sonyalphagallery

Dale, I went to your blog and learned an important lesson about taking good shots of eagles: you need to hang around places where there are enough (at least some) eagles on a regular basis. I assume, few around here are lucky enough to make it this far at all.

That said, you really have some great shots of those animals on your blog. My compliments!

4,000 eagles in about 3.5 miles of river! Lots of action!
