Are there any issues with sync speeds for strobist/studio work with the electronic first curtain shutter with the a7r ii?

Or is it safe to leave it on? 

I've heard that you shouldn't leave it on for speeds higher than 1/1000 for aperture sync. But does it affect flash sync withing normal sync speeds? (Not HSS)
