Sony 24 - 70 GM Lens cap

Has anyone else had issues with the lens cap staying on?  I've lost mine and have had to cannibalise one from my Pentax setup while I idon'thave the Pentax with me.  Even then I have to walk around with the lens cap unnattached as it won't stay on the lens.  In of itself, it is a relatively cheap item, but 82mm lens caps aren't the easiest to get hold of and I would have to stockpile them.

Some of cheap generic lens cap are much easier to handle and much more reliable. For $10 or $20 each, it's no big deal if you lose one. And, you can keep the original cap in the original lens box so you have it if you ever want to sell.

I have the 85gm.  The lens cap and lens hood are pieces of shit.  The lens hood are the worse lens hood I have ever had.  I wish they made it like the ones for the A-mount versions.  Those were really solid.  I wonder if you could buy metal replacements for it. I absolutely hate the stock one.  Anddddd its hard to lock on too.  Ive never had that problem with any other lens before.  As for the lens cap, yeah it doesnt stay on mine either.  It doesn't properly lock.
