I have read some sad posts about Sony's service and was very worried when I had to send in a Sony a7 to the service center here in the US – Precision Camera in CT. I sent the camera FedEx overnight on Monday 3/28. The next day they called to confirm that they had received it. Then, on Wednesday, 3/30 they called again to say the repair was complete and it had been shipped. I got the camera back on Friday 4/1.  Just thought I would share this little story for any and all who might be concerned about Sony service here in the US.
