Hello all,

Using A1II and 90mm macro Sony lens I have a big issue of image quality.

The images I get are blurred. The focus point seems not to be the problem. Looks like the sensor cannot provide neea pixels.

I précise that I have also an A7II for a long time and the pictures (same shoots) are good and sharp.

I try to increase it by using creates look  but the result is the same.

I think I gonna make a product return (under guaranty), but before if somebody can help, thanks in advance.

BR

Exchange it under warranty now. Usually what happens is time gets away while trying to troubleshoot the problem then you end up stuck with a camera you have no faith in.

Other camera on same shoot with same lens gives good results so grab another A1ii from a different production run & see how that goes. Spending that kind of money the thing should operate flawlessly and not require you to play mechanic more than photographer.

Where in the world did you find a A1II for sale in May??
Sorry if this has already been suggested but Have you checked your Firmware version?
Also have you tried making sure "eye detect" is OFF and tried single, center spot focus? Try that and see if there is a change in image quality..  You could also try turning off the e-shutter and see if that affects the image.
I have read that eye detect doesn't always play nice with some lenses. ( especially if they are adapted )
