This , would make the A7SII a killer videocam.

Dear Sony ,

 

You have the Gamma Display Assist , and this is great. But , turn this option into a LUT assist ( uploading the .cube to the cam) , and this would make the A7SII a real video killer.

Please, try it , it would be a nice ítem to include in the next firmware update.

It would be great, but even the FS5 do not have this feature.

 

I hope Sony can add Gamma Display Assist to a7rii. If Sony can give us Gamma Display Assist with selectable stops compensation, it would be great when using SLOG Picture Profiles. I doubt it will happen but more likely than have LUT upload on these cameras.

In my opinion, the display assist feature on the A7sii is useless. It doesn't help at all. It actually makes you more concerned about the shot than before.
