Canon 100mm 2.8 macro ( not L )

This lens was my only non L Canon.  They were all sold last year with the 5d mii.  I now have a 7R mii.  So far, all I have is the Sony 16-35. On order is the Sony 55 and the Batis 85.  Would it be worth getting a Matabones to use with only this lens

Same as me, my only non-L lens before I switched. As much as I liked that lens, the Sony FE 90mm 2.8 looks far superior.
