Sony a65

Hi I have a Sony a65 with a 70/300 mk2 G lens , usually focuses very fast and shoots continuously with good light conditions. It has slowed down on the focus and slow to shoot continuously 

Any idea what could cause this thanks

Have you tried cleaning the connection points

Also, make sure the battery is fully charged.

Do you have another body or lens to use for testing.  If you do, you can determine it the problem is with the camera or the lens -- or the connection between the two.
