Sony a6000 face-detection box removal

Hi,

I'm new to this DSLR camera, I want to use it as webcam in addition to normal photography but I hit a snag... I have this annoying blue rectangle in my HDMI output and I can't get rid of it in any way (I have tried multiple modes, turning of any sort of facial detection and automatic thingimagic but it didn't help)

I have latest firmware (3.21) and I use movie mode because of HDMI output compression in other modes.

UPDATE: Now I feel really stupid... it was the software I was using for preview from capture card and not the camera....

What you're looking for is 'Clean HDMI'.

Menu ⇨ Setup ⇨ HDMI Settings ⇨ HDMI Info Display ⇨ Off

I'm having the same problem with this. I've seen this page and video (not working for me). 

Using Elgato Cam Link that takes in the HDMI output from the a6000. Everything clean except for that darn blue box. I've updated firmware to latest.

I've played with settings a ton... HELP! :)

BRO HAHAHAHA I JUST DID THE EXACT SAME SHIT.

Windows 10 camera has a blue face box,
I was so confused, I enabled clean hdmi output and it was still showing. 

I was like, are you kidding me?!?
