Sony A6000 getting 1MP photos??

Hi, I'm very new to this but I just bought a sony a6000 and it has been shooting super low quality and blurry photos.

When I download them to my phone, it says the photos are 1 MP/ 1616x1080  

I don't know what I am doing wrong? I am shooting manual, raw. My settings are image size is 24 MP. Aspect ratio is 3:2. Quality is Raw+JPEG.

How did you download them? Probably there is a setting in the app to control the download resolution

Phones generally down-res the images to about the res of the phone screen.

How do you get the images off the camera? Are you downloading the images to your computer, processing them, then uploading the JPEGs to your phone? Or are you downloading the images to the phone directly?

Not in my experience with iPhones and some Android devices.

Best thing is to remove the SD card and access it with a computer, checking the actual resolution of the files stored on it.

Absolutely my experience I have to say. Some apps require you to set the transfer file size each time, some remember your setting and others just default to a low-res file size.

 

I wonder what app the OP is using?

I recall mention that the FTP connection by default limits file size - if the OP is using that to transfer the images it may be worth looking into the FTP settings
