It's a deliberate feature of this forum to generate some revenue. I agree it's pretty misleading and inhospitable, especially for first-time users of this forum. I'd rather they'd just put some add banners here and there if revenue is needed for the upkeep of this forum.

I’ve had the original Leica Q since it came out in 2015 and I love it. Like you, however, I found the fixed wide-angle focal length to be limiting, so I added a Sony A7RV to my bag 6 months ago. I love them both, but for different reasons. I’ve always been an avid B&W photographer, so I created a monochrome user profile for my Q which I use exclusively with that camera. I use the Sony for everything else: exclusively shooting in color with a tiny amount of video thrown in. I’m glad to have access to multiple lenses and focal lengths with the Sony, and I now feel like my bag is complete. By the way, I bought two Sony lenses for the A7RV: The 40mm f2.5, which I use for street photography, and the 24-70mm f2.8, which I use for everything else. Cheers.
