EVF Shot Review

First time question from a potential purchaser....

I'm currently running an Olympus set up and when I have taken a picture it appears in the EVF/Screen for a second or so before it goes back to the real time view. With a Sony A7III or A7IIIR is this the same or do you have to review the picture manually?
