A6000 55-210 motor whine on powerup/down

Gentlefolk,

First-time poster with a question. My A6000 has developed an extended motor whine on power up or power down when coupled with the kit 55-210 zoom lens. A motor somewhere whines for perhaps 5 seconds until it stops. It is not consistent, but usually happens on power-down. There does not appear to be any activity goin on with the lens itself. In all other respects, the body and lens are working properly.

Thoughts?
