Sony Memories App - Sony A6000

Hi, 

 

I have recently purchased a Sony A6000, and after getting familiar with the camera I now wanted to take advantage of the apps available. 

 

I really want to try out the smooth reflections app, as i'm going on a cruise later this year - so plenty of water. But unfortunately, Ive so far not been successful. I have tried direct through the camera connected on wifi, and keep getting the error message 'an internal error has occurred'. I have contacted Sony and they have advised to reset the camera, done no joy. They have advised to update to the latest software, done no joy. I have tried several times and still get the same error message. 

 

I've tried to add funds to my wallet on PSN and get the error message that credit card details are incorrect. I've input over and over again but it keeps advising incorrect details ?? Tried to connect via paypal but it says details are incorrect on that also ?

I've used my paypal account in the meantime and all fine.

 

Can anyone help??

Have you tried signing in through the Sony Playmemories apps site with your Laptop or PC?

 

Then choosing an app and downloading to the camera through your computer?

 

I have downloaded many free apps to my camera - no problem. But, be sure to join and log in first.
