Just purchased the A6000 with Sigma 60mm f2.8.  Very pleased until I converted the RAW images to DNG with the Adobe converter. Most images are corrupted as in the attached jpg file exported from Lightroom. I can't believe that I'm the only person who has experienced this problem but I can't find anything in the achives.

Memory is Sandisk Extreme 32GB.

Is there an obvious solution?

Update on my RAW problems.

Changed SD card to "top of the range" Extreme PRO 95MB/s  - no improvement. still getting useless images.

Left card in the camera and transferred RAW files via USB connection to PC. RAW files appear to be without problems.

Previously had been removing card and using a card reader.

I hope this proves to be a problem solved. By the way JPG files did not have any problems previously.

Thank you steph for your post.

Try different software.

Irfanview (free) with the latest plugins should read those raw files.  Or try the Sony software, which you can download from the Sony website, I got CDs with my cameras with that software.  Or try the free Phase 1 Capture 1 Sony edition. My Windows 8.1 install also reads Sony raw files out of the box. Plenty of free options to check before spending cash on a new SD card.

Always double check software before looking at hardware.  Does the version of Adobe Converter you have, list the A6000 as a supported camera body?

Verify that the files can be copied off the SD card and that the raw files can be read correctly. If this does work, then Adobe is at fault. If the raw files do not copy correctly or can't be read, try a different PC.  There are loads and loads of reasons why USB might be causing problems.  Easier to test on a different PC.

I listed three (3) options to choose from.  I'm sure there are many others.  The point is to test other software to determine if the problem is software or hardware.
