Production of the 6400 was stopped for a while during the pandemic, and then resumed once stocks had been cleared, so all new cameras have the latest firmware at the time of production, -

The latest version of the firmware for A6400 is version 2.00 (Windows) and that was released on 06/13/2019 or almost five years ago. My guess is that version 2.00 is the default firmware for A6400 now (and should have been for quite a while).
