I must apologise, I am an happy adapted lens user too, but it is not the lens, this kind of simple "street photography" can be seen every day from many routine security control cameras! But O.K. fine with me, keep on shooting with your LEICA glass?

I will!

Nice idea, with Sony's special tricky B&W mode! i' ve used it in autumn with the red wine leafs!

On the other hand, I see here in our City just special City cleaning personal, who just have to pick-up these cigarette butts. Meanwhile, this is an massive pollution problem! In Singapore, you get beaten for that!

Like your photographs, particularly the DSC 5605.

It's amazing what results you can get with the 90 mm Summicon. I sometimes take only this lens with me on a trip of a couple of days (so far only attached to R bodies). Of the few test shots I did with the A7 II the 90 mm performs nicely as adapted lens, too.

I'm also not a big fan of street photography but your b&w images are just stunning, they actually show people doing interesting things in interesting settings.

Also love how the 90mm renders in b&w btw, fully understand your enthousiasme.

Wonderful shots! It's the kind of shooting I love and aspire to and after the "death" of film it has been hard to find.

Not posting yet but I put the 90 summicron on the a7RII and I am blown away by the results.

And yes sorry but I am very happy that I have 35 years of Leica lenses, (and a few voigtlanders too). I think Dan Cook's photographs and photography history end all argument about Leica m lenses.

You won't get beaten or caned if that's what you mean for throwing a cigarette butt. You will be fined $150.00 SGD for doing that.

I actually like the your pics from the Sony RX1 and A7S w/ 90mm cron.  Zeiss combo with the Canon looked too contrasty for my taste.  How's the Leica Q working out?  I'm not sure I'm ready for a fixed lens just yet.

Might just be my varying process style :)

Loving the Q, few of my recent sets

If you get a chance, take a look at the new RX1R II.  Maybe you could jump the fence back to Sony. Although I do like the Leica Q as well.  I believe the Sony is a leaf shutter in-lens as well and syncs up to 1/2000 for flash.

What i've read about it coupled with my experience of the RX1R - I'm not hopeful that I'd enjoy the experience of using it compared to the Leica Q, nor am I sure I would risk moving from what I have found to be a great camera.

It will be interesting to see how it pans out though!

Using a Wistros 360AD I have managed to get 1/1250th at high power
