Printing photos

Maybe not entierly Sony related, but I'm curious.

I sometimes print them and I use just normal glossy photo paper 4x6" and an Epson printer. After printing I put them in photo albums.

So, do you print your photos?

I print up to 8 x 10 at home, which is also the most common size people buy. Anything larger is sent out. I use a Canon 6 color tank printer made for photo printing.

Nice printer! Mine is an Epson L6160, it's not advertised for printing photos, it only has CMYK, so only 4 inks, the photo printers should have 6 inks from what I read, but my Epson is enough for what I need.

Do you use Canon paper? I've tried Epson and HP and I couldn't find any difference besides the price. Do you hang your photos on the walls?

I use whatever is on sale. I've used Canon and a couple other brands. 

The difference is print quality from a regular printer to a photo printer is really quite astounding. A huge advantage in cost is the tanks instead of cartridges. It costs about $100 to refill the inks, from that I can get 3,600 4 x 6 prints.
