Phone number or email address for Sony Customer Support?

Is there an email address or phone number where I can contact sony customer support? 

 I cannot get into my online account because sony will accept neither my password nor my date of birth as being correct.   I was asked to enter my date of birth when trying to reset my password, and when the date I gave was rejected I got a message to contact customer support.  I poked around for 30 minutes and could not find a way to contact customer support.   I did get to a robot chat session, but got stuck when asked for my online ID.  Other than my email address, I have no online ID that I know of. 

 I created my Sony account in 2017, I believe only to register my alpha 6000 camera.  Today I tried to login to check what aps are available for my camera.

Sometimes it can be easier to create a new account to get in. If necessary, create a gmail or hotmail email account to do it (write down the password to the email account!).

I think companies are making it harder and harder to reach telephone support because telephone support is expensive to them.
