A7c Focus Tracking Questions (stills)

Hi everyone! I have a few questions about using the AF tracking on the A7c. 

 

1.Anyone know how I can get the AF point (white rectangle) to shiw up on screen when set to AF Single Shot (not Servo)?

 

2. How do I set the AF point to lock on a subject for tracking by pressing the shutter release button halfway instead of always using the rear AF button all the time?

 

In other words, I'd like for the AF point to be visible on the LCD and/or EVF at all times, and I'd like to use it to lock on to whatever I choose for tracking that spot. 

 

Right now my A7c is set up (most likely by mistake on my part) where tge camera selwcrs the AF point and tracks whatever it wants, not what I select.
