Is Sony ever going to do something?

Hi,

 

New here and felt compelled to come to the forum to just make a statement.

Canon is whopping on Sony right now in terms of video focused cameras. The Canon C70 is one of the best video cameras that is affordable on the market. 12bit RAW, DCI 4K (not UHD), and better color. 

Does anybody have any inside information if Sony plans to come to the table with something? Even Nikon took the Sony sensor and made a beast of a camera (Nikon Z9). Being an editor in Davinci, nothing is more infuriating than having to use and Atomos Ninja external recorder to achieve 4.2K and 12bit RAW power - THEN, have to turn around to transcode the footage just to use it in Davinci. Yet, Nikon can build on the Sony Sensor and destroy the company which sold them the sensors. I don't know who is making decisions at Sony, but I'm about to leave the ecosystem if Sony can't start giving us better more versatile options.

Being the owner of (4) Sony A7s IIIs, I'm becoming depressed being stuck where I am with my footage capability.
