Came across your comment regarding failure to keep focus at infinity after being out in cold for a while. Did you ever get a response to this? Also same issue I had w/ my 200-600. -
Best I can think of is to prevent the camera from powering off, e.g. to disable Power Save mode and/or plug in a power supply via USB. -

Any way that turn this feature off or have it reset to existing focus? Trying to use lens with my tracker for star photography.
