I have a similar problem with my 200–600 on my 7rm4a. The lens will auto focus no problem manual focus intermittently works. If I power off remove the lens and put it back on it fixes the issue or if I move the focus ring back-and-forth a lot it will most of the time fix the issue. Does this sound like the potentiometer? Are there any guides online to replace this part? -

Thank you yes I figured this out with the Sony parts team at encompass. They incorrectly have the 7rM4 screen listed as compatible with the 7RM4A. They helped me get the correct one ordered and hopefully they will fix the website. -

The screens are different for the M4 and the M4A. They have different resolutions. The correct part for your camera is A7RM4A LCD is A-5029-452-A PANEL B-ASSY
