Shutter loud and viberating

Purchased a Sony a7II yesterday.  Have tried a few times taking pictures.

It is surprising that the shutter click sound is so loud and my left hand feels its vibration.

Is it normal by Sony's standards?

Thanks.

LOL! You should try the original A7r. I call it the French Revolution . . . after the guillotine.

If I'd known way back when I'd have avoided.

Believe me, your A7II is a massive improvement over the first generation.

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Wonder if everyone else has the same experience.  It is then Sony's product standard if every user experiences the same.

I'll keep my mouth shut if that is Sony's standard.

I just rec'd my A7R back from Sony service, where they replaced the shutter button 'cos it fell off.

Wonder-of-wonders, the shutter is noticeably quieter and there are no clunks when I switch the camera off.

What HAVE they done?

What HAVE they done?

Left a few sponges in the patient after the surgery ?
