Alpha 7 series and HDMI extenders

Dear all, 

I hope someone can help me with an issue I have with my Sony Alpha 7. 

This camera is attached to a microscope to make images and videos from surgeries. For courses we transmit these images directly to our conference room (which is 30-35meter away from the surgery room) and we used therefore HDMI extender. These worked perfect with other cameras. 

With the Alpha the images are not transmitting. When I plug in a HDMI immediately into a screen, it works perfect. When I try the same thing using HDMI extenders, not a single images is coming through. see attached drawing. 

Would this be an issue with the camera? Other something else?
