Does the a7rII suffer from same C-AF issues as a7s?

on the a7s it hunts and hunts even on native lenses and makes it unusable at times.

 

is this the case with the a7r2 as well?

Read the specs and reviews. New sensor and hybrid AF works very nicely. You malign the A7s too. By the way, what model CaNikon do you use?

The "so so" AF and tracking of the my A7s while shooting Video can be thrown off easily with a bright back ground.

This is true to a lesser degree with all cameras and the main reason most shooters use manual focus.

 

The best I've used is the GH4, it's AFF is extremely good by comparison.
