Unintentional aperture changes

Recommended Posts

I do real estate photography that requires me to shoot at specific settings. For example: 400 ISO, F8, aperture priority. I have my settings saved to Memory recall #1. Seems simple enough, but none of the dials on the camera lock, so it is real easy to unintentionally bump and change settings. I have gone to the extent of using electrical tape to lock the dials. Now I am not sure if the dials are still moving, but I have found the aperture will change without my knowledge and dont know why. My questions is this: Does anyone know how to REALLY lock your settings, especially the aperture?
