You don't mention which camera. Most Sonys allow you to assign specific functions to a button of your choosing. You could probably a program the AF-ON button to toggle focus peaking. Also, try using FP on the lowest setting. It will significantly reduce the amount of glistening pixels.
Focus peaking needs a toggle. If I'm shooting a scene with plenty of branches and trees, there's so much peaking display that I can't see to compose my image. A button to turn it off for a moment would be greatly appreciated.
Tethered my A7III to my Macbook Pro using usb C cable. Working fine. Then I notice there is an update for Imaging Edge. Download it, install it and then...
Sony Imaging edge is now telling me " The document A7300001.ARW could not be opened. Imaging edge desktop cannot open files in the "Sony ARW raw images" format.
If I change from recording raw to jpeg in camera, it gives me the exact same message, but substitute ARW with jpeg.
Is this a bug ? can I roll back to a previous version of IE ?
No settings were changed on the camera between working with old IE version and new version.
