Advertisement Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Hi Steven Pratt, Take a look here A7rIV eyecup. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
big0bum
I'm also wearing glasses and I'm curious what's wrong with the original eyecup? Anyway, search for JJC eyecups on Ali, they are pretty cheap. Cameratose
Steven Pratt
It just seems a tad small for my specs. Thanks for suggestion. I’ll give them a look. big0bum
big0bum
I've never tried another eyecup for Sony, but I did change the original one of Fuji. The Fuji eyecup was big (surface) but at the same time it increased the distance from the EVF making the corners and margins of the EVF harder to see. I went with a round eyecup for Fuji that allwoed me to get my eye closer to the EVF screen and always used the "zoom out" mode of the EVF. Basically it takes the image and makes it smaller. Just something to keep in mind.
Cameratose
I agree with @big0bum, I wear glasses and have never had a problem with any of Sony's stock eye cups. The good news is that there are plenty of inexpensive third-party manufacturers on Ali and eBay that you can try until you find one you like.
