a99v not locking lens

My a99 quit locking the lenses in place, I removed my 85mm and when I tried another lens it would not lock, neither would any other lenes I tried including the original 85mm,  I don't get an error message but the lens and camera do not have any telemetry either.. Has anyone ever encountered it, can a home remedy fix it, if so how) or will I have to send it in for surgical repair.
