  2. Hello guys, My old sony alpha100 died. I want to buy a new one that is compatible with my zooms, and that keeps being so easy (I am really not a proooo) what are your advice? which one should I go for? 3. I've been having some issues with the clarity of the pictures that my a6000 seems to produce. The pictures that I have taken on this camera just doesn't appear to be very clear. They appear slightly hazy and not particularly sharp, when compared to the pictures that I have taken on my Samsung galaxy S6. This morning I decided to initialise the camera and take some fresh pics. I used a tripod and the and the playmemories remote control function to control the shutter, to completely eliminate camera shake. I used the auto mode to shoot the picture. It was automatically saved on my phone via playmemories at 'original size'. I then uploaded it from my phone via the flicker app. Please take s look and tell me what you think about the image quality/ clarity https://flic.kr/p/R1FbnQ

  5. Hello people of the Sony Alpha Forum I recently added some pictures of mine to the weekly SAR topics. This so I can get some improving feedback due to the fact that I'm not a professional photographer and never done any course. The first camera I used was a Sony A300 with kitlens and was about 9 years ago. After several months and due to the fact that I work at Brussels Airport, I wanted to take pictures of approaching and taking off aircraft. So I decided to buy a midrange zoom 18-250 Sony lens. After this of about a year I started to get bored with just taking aircrafts. I enjoyed my time of walking and taking pictures of my dog, so I decided to get a level higher and purchased a new body: SLT A65 and 70-400mm. After several years of self study and enjoying my time of taking pictures I know want something more. More feedback of other persons, then my family. Now I am proud to be a owner of a Full Frame Sony A99. This I bought second hand, because I found that the prices for the A7 series are too high for just amateurs. Below you will find a link to my Flickr-account. If there are people of the forum, with whom I don't have a friend status, please I invite me. I look forward to see a lot of interesting pictures to get some inspiration and to enjoy watching beautiful pictures. Thank you. Christiaen Mous. https://www.flickr.com/photos/115197749@N03/
  6. (Cross Posted on various Forums) Hey All, I just wanted to post a quick note about today’s launch of Capture One Pro 8.2. Normally I don’t make a point of advertising ‘dot’ releases but we have added a very exciting new tool in Capture One. The Color Balance tool (whilst existing in previous versions of Capture One) has had an extensive upgrade. With the new 3-Way Color Balance, no knowledge of color blending or third party plug-ins are required to create beautifully color graded images. Color tone changes can be made in the shadows, the highlights or the mid-tones. Have a look at the attached screen grab (Photo credit www.petewebb.com), to give you an idea. This is a great way to apply color grading to an image without relying on presets and filters. Although a similar result can be achieved using levels and curves, it is not as easy to reach the desired tone, plus in the new tool, color is decoupled from lightness and saturation. There is a tutorial video here… And stand by for blog posts on the subject at blog.phaseone.com and a great webinar tomorrow with Pratik Naik from Solstice Retouch. Sign up here… https://attendee.got...817020592082433 Pratik will take us through his color workflow and make use of the new tool. There are more webinars in the future too where you can learn about this tool, and Capture One in general.. http://www.phaseone....-webinars.aspx 8.2 also adds ‘Dynamic Locations’ (new tokens for changing the path of an image file based on items such as color tag, star rating and much more), 5k Previews plus new camera and lens support. Give it a try out on a free 30 day trial… http://www.phaseone....ture-One-8.aspx Thanks, David
